JOB PURPOSE

Our Talent Partners own all talent moves within their discipline from start to finish. You will be a true business partner, using your specialist knowledge to coach the business and leveraging market intelligence, aligning talent strategy with hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for both achieving your own targets and supporting others so that we excel as a team. (inc. candidate and hiring manager satisfaction, timeliness of updates, quality of candidate, etc.)

  • You will drive the hiring process for active requirements: from briefing meetings; to setting-up easy and effective selection processes; to effectively screening applications, including reviewing CVs and digital interviews; to advising our business on the key skills and characteristics that matter most to our organisation.

  • Actively conduct candidate searches - considering the Open Talent Economy & searching the wide range of different talent profiles.

  • Supporting internal career moves through a fair, inclusive and consistent recruitment process

  • Work with Employer Branding teams to develop content and driving engagement through hyper targeted campaigns.

  • Constantly anticipating business needs; you'll actively approach and engage high-quality passive and active talent, building talent ecosystems that meet our current and future skill requirements.

  • Building awareness of the internal and external talent landscape across a range of functions, you'll develop a holistic view of talent in your discipline. Actively engaging and building relationships with internal talent, you'll maintain awareness of where/when our people are ready for their next move.

  • Experience is everything, which is why you'll always provide timely quality feedback to our applicants, turning every candidate into a brand advocate.

  • Continually seeking to enhance performance you'll suggest ways to improve talent quality and experience. Ensuring we always attract a diverse and inclusive workforce.

  • Hire progressively, suggesting ways to achieve our pillars of diversity and inclusion throughout the talent process

All About You

  • You are an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with a successful track record of working in internal or RPO environments

  • You are experienced in partnering with senior business stakeholders and the wider HR community to gain an in-depth understanding of business needs and priorities and translating a talent strategy into

  • execution

  • You have developed and delivered end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies to meet client requirements.

  • You enjoy delivering against KPIs, targets and SLAs

  • You like to use data to produce value-adding business-oriented management information and reporting

  • You are able to understand and comply with employment legislation affecting resources in different regions, such as GDPR.

  • Expertise in a range of active candidate sourcing strategies and approaches sourcing through active and passive channels

  • Sourcing candidates using an Open Talent Economy approach

  • Understands the Business: You will take an active interest in what we do as a business and how we do it - a commercial focus and inquisitive mind are essential.

  • Collaboration, Relationship Building and Influencing: Constructively questioning and influencing whilst maintaining collaborative relationships is key and constant dialogue with Hiring Managers, Business Leaders and HRBPs will come naturally.

  • Client Mindset: Partnering is a huge focus for us, because it's not just what you do, but how you do it that matters. That's why it's key you’re a stimulating communicator and credible influencer who can build close relationships.

  • Passion for High Performance: Maintaining high standards of performance during peaks in workload (able to easily manage up to 30 vacancies while delivering against multiple strategic sourcing initiatives and functional projects)

  • Agility, Adaptability and Efficiency: Take a planned approach to working efficiently in a complex environment

  • Analysing and Using Data: A data-focus approach to manage your workload and provide insight to your stakeholders.

  • Digital Savvy: using best-in-class technology platforms to support the recruiting process

Location 


In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.

Recruitment Fraud


Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs.  These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.


How is Unilever tackling this?


Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.


What can I do?
